Family Support Worker, Surrey County Council , Ashford, UK

You will work with Families with children between the ages of 0-11. Those who are at risk of breaking down will be offering Short Term Parenting Support to the families.

You will have an understanding and awareness of child development and be able to show commitment to working with families who are either in need or have children at risk.

You will need good verbal, report writing and organisational skills. You will also be creative in your work, whilst being able to play an active part in preparing and implementing individual care plans. You will also be a team player.

You should have NNEB, or a BTech National Diploma/Certificate in Early Childhood Studies, or an NVQ Level 3 in Childcare Education, Pre-School Learning Alliance Diploma in Playgroup Practice, or a Teaching Certificate.

An enhanced Criminal Records Bureau disclosure and POCA check will be required for this role.

Part of the Engineering department this role requires the successful candidates to supervise and participate in all maintenance aspects, analyses; research, planning and design for a variety of capital construction and/or maintenance programs, whilst planning and directing the work of professional and technical staff Reporting to the Engineering Manager you will be accountable for performance against budget, maintaining records and statistics, apply maintenance evaluation and quality improvement to ensure high-performance and technical standards are meet. In parallel to the operational element you will required to act as a conduit for communication between the various departments, divisions and organisation, subcontractors and vendors.
