Doha based on-shore /off-shore drilling services company envisioned to contribute actively in the development of Qatar and the region's hydrocarbon resources requires the management and experience of a Senior Maintenance Engineer. Part of the Engineering department this role requires the successful candidates to supervise and participate in all maintenance aspects, analyses; research, planning and design for a variety of capital construction and/or maintenance programs, whilst planning and directing the work of professional and technical staff Reporting to the Engineering Manager you will be accountable for performance against budget, maintaining records and statistics, apply maintenance evaluation and quality improvement to ensure high-performance and technical standards are meet. In parallel to the operational element you will required to act as a conduit for communication between the various departments, divisions and organisation, subcontractors and vendors. It is expected that you will hold an engineering degree in mechanical engineering, with at least 15 years oil & gas industry exposure, 5 of which should have been in a senior maintenance role that will have included drilling facilities/equipment Expect US$9, 000 - US$10, 000 per month + medical (family) + education allowance +life insurance + yearly flights(family)
